We apply the term "baritone guitar" only to guitars tuned to a pitch range in between the standard guitar and the bass guitar. Baritone guitars are usually tuned a fourth or fifth (A or B) below the standard guitar. This site will concentrate on the six-string baritone guitar, but I am sure that much of the information will also be relevant to players of seven-string guiars and Bass VI style six-string bass guitars.
